About Us |
| Welcome! If you are considering Pioneer
State Mutual as a prospective employer, you
are anticipating an exciting career with a
growing company committed to its people and
focused on its future.
You may also
know that traditional values—honesty,
fairness and uncompromising integrity—are
every bit as important to us as innovative
ideas and strong business results. Pioneer
and its staff have earned a reputation over
the years for financial strength (327
million dollars in combined assets and 151
million dollars in direct written premium),
for quality products and service and for
exemplary claim-handling ability. A.M. Best
Company has rated us A+ (Superior), which
reflects the relative strength of an
insurance company, in comparison to the
overall insurance industry in vital areas
like competent underwriting, control of
expenses, adequate resources and sound
investments.
Pioneer State
Mutual is a single state provider of property and
casualty products. We recognize our
social responsibility, are committed to the
communities in the state of Michigan and have a clear picture of the kind
of company we want to be. One that
encourages and rewards high performance,
where we are constantly "raising the bar" to
new heights, searching for smarter and
greener ways of working while leveraging
technology to become more efficient for our
workforce and our customers. One that is known for its
agility, where individual employees and the
entire organization adapt quickly and easily
to change. One that employee’s find
rewarding, where people are excited about
what they do and the opportunities that lie
ahead.
To achieve that vision, we’re hiring,
promoting, training and rewarding people who
have a similar vision of their own future.
People that welcome personal responsibility,
yet have fun and work well with others. People with
technical or subject matter expertise, along
with an understanding of broader business
issues. People who have a relentless
discomfort with the status quo and a
willingness to make things happen. |
